Barceló Teguise Beach - Adults Only

The hotel is beautiful and welcoming. We had a lovely welcome from Valentina on reception who even obliged us in practicing our Spanish! Our room (3074) was on the third floor in block E, with a small blaconette overlooking the pool. It was extremely spacious and comfortable, with a huge jacuzzi bath and a walk in double shower. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The TV has a few English channels which is nice. Mini bar (payable) which we didn't use, but the cleaners do leave 2 small bottles of water per day which is a nice touch. Proper coffee machine as well as a kettle. We were visiting on our honeymoon and the hotel left us a bottle of rosé cava which was a really nice touch. Pool area is great, plenty of sunbeds at every time of day, however, not always in the sun! Pool temperature was fab. We got free use of the spa facilities for an hour which was a really nice touch and we thoroughly enjoyed it! We stayed Half board but never actually used the restaurant for dinner, as we preferred to eat out. Breakfast however was amazing. The restaurant itself gets very busy and the outside bit in particular can be hard to get a table in as it's only small. The food on offer is brilliant, huge selection, very fresh. Great tea and coffee selection, even bottles of cava to help yourself to, which was lovely for a morning mimosa! All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Location of the hotel is brilliant, easy to access all of the local facilities in each direction. Lots of bars, restaurants and shops nearby and close to the beach. Everyone we came across was friendly and the area felt lovely and safe. We had an absolutely amazing time and didn't want to leave!

The hotel is well-served by activities, with 2 swimming pools, a gym, bars, and restaurants. There are also many restaurants, shops, gelaterias, and aquatic sports activities nearby. The room was very cosy, with a large and comfy bed, a high-pressure shower, and a great view of the ocean. Breakfast was so diverse that you could get lost there. They also have different thematic dinner options. Another good thing was that they have a person in the hotel explaining and selling day trips and activities, which makes life easier.

Clean, safe, great location, amazing staff, lots of space and sun loungers. Amazing breakfast and lunch menu! So easy to get to the beach and town, the property itself is beautiful It’s a short walk around the town to shops and markets, to the aquarium and to a nearby mini golf course! The rooms were fabulous, honestly just beautiful! The bed was extremely comfortable, air conditioned room, great shower, big storage space (wardrobe) I didn’t use the gym but it was packed almost daily!

Breakfast was amazing, so much variety and food quality was very good. The lovely staff made my stay enjoyable, I would especially like to mention Stefania Alexandrov on reception. Steffi was very approachable, professional and went the extra mile, to help me, as my situation was difficult as my husband had been taken seriously ill and was operated on in Arrecife general hospital. I had to move hotels from Playa Blanca to Costa Teguise to be closer to him. Steffi was so kind and thoughtful towards me, and gave me good advice to help me and reassure me. When my husband was discharged just a few days ago, Steffi called us a taxi and told us about Playa Blanca where our next apartment is. We would have liked to remail in Barcelo Teguise Beach Hotel but it was full. I felt I had a friend in Steffi, which I badly needed during this very stressful time. Also I did find every staff member I came in contact with, to be very approachable and professional and friendly.

Outstanding food with plentiful breakfasts and incredible dinners. Every meal was generous and exceptionally tasty, complemented by fast and efficient service. The rooms were cleaned daily, with fresh linens and towels provided every day. The staff were always smiling and friendly, making the stay even more enjoyable.The island is easy to explore by rental car, featuring many charming spots and attractions.
