Barceló Teguise Beach - Adults Only

A very big, comfortable, quiet room with jacuzzi on the balcony. Staff is very friendly and helpful, we loved their service. Especially the girl at the desk of the buffet: she made sure we took note of every plant-based option. A muchos gracias to her!! Location is perfect: right at the beach and boulevard. A perfect base to discover the rest of this beautiful island by bike or car. The infinity pools are a great place to relax for a moment. The one at the front has a great seaview. We booked another stay for the end of summer.

It was a week stay. The hotel is perfectly located, right in the center of the island and it’s easy and quick to travel in any direction. Just steps away from the hotel you will find shops, bars and restaurants and a nice promenade along the sea. The hotel is very quiet, no noise from the street. There is no hotel parking, but you can park close to the hotel in the street free parkings. I had no problem with this. The food was very good. Lots of choices. Fresh fish, shrimps were delicious. The deserts were something absolutely fantastic. I eat deserts very seldom, but here I couldn’t but ate something everything dinner. The room was big and clean with a nice balcony. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was amazing, so much variety and food quality was very good. The lovely staff made my stay enjoyable, I would especially like to mention Stefania Alexandrov on reception. Steffi was very approachable, professional and went the extra mile, to help me, as my situation was difficult as my husband had been taken seriously ill and was operated on in Arrecife general hospital. I had to move hotels from Playa Blanca to Costa Teguise to be closer to him. Steffi was so kind and thoughtful towards me, and gave me good advice to help me and reassure me. When my husband was discharged just a few days ago, Steffi called us a taxi and told us about Playa Blanca where our next apartment is. We would have liked to remail in Barcelo Teguise Beach Hotel but it was full. I felt I had a friend in Steffi, which I badly needed during this very stressful time. Also I did find every staff member I came in contact with, to be very approachable and professional and friendly.

Happy good vibes, staff helpful and more than happy to help, little offerings around the pool and classes very good touch, clean tidy and well kept in all area's, enjoyed our stay, upgraded to include evening meal at a good price, loved the spa and entertainment.

Barcelo is an amazing getaway destination, located right by the Costa Teguise beach. The hotel outlooks the beautiful beach front and is a a simple 60 second walk away from the pool that outlooks the beach, to the sandy beach and local attractions, such a bars, shops and many activities around the area, many, within the hotel. A polite and welcoming member of staff let everyone pool side know what the planned activities were for the day, some of my favourites being the cocktail making and ringtoss. The pool was huge and very clean, with many sunbeds available, even though during our stay it was very busy, we managed to find a sunbed every day, whether it was morning or afternoon. Our room was immaculate and cleaned every day with new bed sheets and dry towels, very spacious inside with a large balcony and hot tub outside. The Staff were very accommodating and happy to help with any issues or queries. On our last day, the hotel has a service to provide a taxi straight from the hotel, we arranged one for our trip home however unfortunately left my cabin bag within the taxi when arriving at the airport, I phoned the hotel and after explaining and providing my room number, they got straight through to our driver at the time and within 5 minutes he had turned around to return my bag. I really appreciated this as this could have been a "we can't do anything to help I'm afraid" situation but the staff went above and beyond for me and my parnter during our stay. He had been lucky enough to have already visted the hotel and had only told me such great things but after staying and experiencing it all for myself, my expectations have only exceeded what I'd been told. A picturesque, relaxing and luxurious resort to stay in during your time in lanzarote and would highly recommend.
